Place „Plan des lettres“
Shepherds who brought sheep to graze on a plane at 2560m engraved numbers and letters in stone. These witnesses of our history can still be seen „au Plan des letters”.
This surprising place, which can be reached after an ascent on rocky path opposite the Kaiserkrone, is of breath-taking beauty. The steep ascent takes approx. 2 hours and belongs to the blue marked alpine tracks (only for experienced mountaineers).
Copper-Mine
A real witness of mine industry in Val d`Anniviers it is up today. The only one in Switzerland, which is open to the public. Val d`Anniviers is one of the valleys in Switzerland, where most of the mining attempts took place.
Entry is free with „Pass Anniviers Liberté“ (pass anniviers liberté).
Autrefois sur l’Alpage de la Lée
Museum at place named „Vichiesso“ or at Alp “La Lée” to be found on the path of Petit Mountet this small museum shows the life on the Alp. It can be visited freely or on demand. Then one gets more information and the possibility to see the inside of “La Tsigière”.
